Winter Wellness: Beat the Winter Blues
Coming soon...The Change Community
Welcome to The Change Community! The way we talk about the menopause is changing, and about time too. There is more research being done into this pivotal time of women’s lives than ever before, which is great news, but with that comes a bewildering amount of information. Having worked with hundreds of incredible women over the last 10 years, the main thing I’ve learnt is that when it comes to women’s hormones we’re as unique as our fingerprints. New research provides a great starting point for improving our health and wellbeing, but without including lived experience in how we apply that research we’re missing a key part of the puzzle.
That’s where The Change Community comes in. Here, you’ll find evidence-based nutrition advice, recipes, practical resources and expert insights to help you to thrive through this transition. We’ll also feature guest speakers covering topics like stress and sleep management, exercise, and hormone replacement therapy (HRT), offering an holistic approach to help each woman fit the puzzle pieces of her own experience together. Beyond the resources our community thrives on peer support; providing an open, welcoming space for women to share their personal experiences and connect with others who understand. Monday 26th May
Women's Wellbeing Day at Mill Farm, Gamlingay
A day designed to support female wellness. Engage in transformative activities that inspire self-care and community connection, with laughter and smiles all round.
The day kicks off with an energising pilates session, followed by an nutrition talk about fuelling your hormones to feel energised, and reducing your risk of breast cancer. The last session before lunch will be a pottery workshop where we'll all be crafting our own unique boobie pots!
After a delicious lunch we'll be treated to a skin care talk, with tips and tricks to help us look after our skin through the changing seasons of life. A relaxing yoga session leads us into a deeply relaxing sound bath to close the day.
Part of the proceeds from the day will be donated to CoppaFeel!, the breast cancer awareness charity.
